The HP-2440 Hybrid-Processing Laser Cutter sets a new standard for versatility and performance. Engineered with CO₂ laser technology, it seamlessly handles a wide range of materials—from 18-gauge metal to wood and acrylic up to ¾ inch thick, and less dense substrates up to 2 inches depending on the lenses. For maximum productivity, the optional Hybrid-Servo drive system delivers industry-leading cutting speeds of up to 1,000 mm/sec.
Materials
* The HP-2440 can cut up to 18ga stainless steel and 20ga carbon/mild steel.
*The laser does not directly engrave the metal, it removes a layer to reveal the metal. Powder-coated tumblers, anodized aluminum, and laser-able plaques are common applications.
